The European Union’s foreign policy chief condemns the political use of humanitarian aid in Gaza by the Israeli regime and calls for immediate facilitation of the delivery of aid to the people of the region.
High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas has condemned the political use of humanitarian aid in Gaza by the Israeli regime and calls for immediate facilitation of the delivery of aid to the people of the region.
Kaja Kallas said that all European countries condemn the military use of humanitarian aid by Israel, adding that the humanitarian aid must enter Gaza.
“So, on Gaza, everybody condemned the politicization of humanitarian aid. Humanitarian aid has to reach the people in need in Gaza, and we were also welcoming the Arab peace plan or Arab reconstruction plan for Gaza,” she emphasized.
The humanitarian crisis in Gaza has reached its peak in recent months with the intensification of Israeli attacks and severe restrictions on the entry of humanitarian aid.
The international organizations have repeatedly warned of the dire situation of civilians, shortages of food, medicine and drinking water.
